אַרְבָּ֘עִ֤ים שָׁנָ֨ה׀ אָ֘ק֤וּט בְּד֗וֹר וָאֹמַ֗ר עַ֤ם תֹּעֵ֣י לֵבָ֣ב הֵ֑ם וְ֝הֵ֗ם לֹא־ יָדְע֥וּ דְרָכָֽי׃

Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
