οἱ δὲ πολῖται αὐτοῦ ἐμίσουν αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέστειλαν πρεσβείαν ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ λέγοντες· οὐ θέλομεν τοῦτον βασιλεῦσαι ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς.
English (KJV)
But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
