וַתְּהִי־ שָׁ֧ם הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה נָפֹ֖צֶת עַל־ פְּנֵ֣י כָל־ הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיֶּ֤רֶב הַיַּ֙עַר֙ לֶאֱכֹ֣ל בָּעָ֔ם מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר אָכְלָ֛ה הַחֶ֖רֶב בַּיּ֥וֹם הַהֽוּא׃

For the battle was there scattered over the face of all the country: and the wood devoured more people that day than the sword devoured.
