וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ אֶל־ יוֹאָ֔ב הִנֵּה־ נָ֥א עָשִׂ֖יתִי אֶת־ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וְלֵ֛ךְ הָשֵׁ֥ב אֶת־ הַנַּ֖עַר אֶת־ אַבְשָׁלֽוֹם׃
