כִּֽי־ גֵרִ֨ים אֲנַ֧חְנוּ לְפָנֶ֛יךָ וְתוֹשָׁבִ֖ים כְּכָל־ אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ כַּצֵּ֧ל׀ יָמֵ֛ינוּ עַל־ הָאָ֖רֶץ וְאֵ֥ין מִקְוֶֽה׃

For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
